About This Blog

This is a little blog site that I have setup and plan to use for various things. There is no real set topic or goal but I do plan to post blogs about the setup and development of this site. In case you are wondering the domain means nothing at all. I just wanted something short and sweet.

WordPress

There is a good chance that there will end up being a good amount of blog posts about WordPress in here. I have done a lot of web development with PHP but I have had little contact with WordPress, so as I am learning and evolving my site there will be posts about it.

SEO

I enjoy playing the SEO game and trying to see what Google and Bing like to respond to. I am no SEO expert but being in web development and design you have to at least have the basics. Another part of the reason I am doing this site is to experiment with SEO a bit. It should be a challenge considering the site does not have a clear objective. There will likely be posts about my findings if I have any.

Windows Phone 7 and Other Mobile Platforms

Being a bit of a techie I will likely have some opinions on such things. I personally am loving WP7 as my primary device but I am excited to see what Apple’s new mobile OS will have to offer as well as the next iteration of Android. I am sure that there will be a lot of features that Windows Phone 7 brought to the table copied by Apple and Android as they have already started to do.

I found your website and noticed that you have a solid technical
background.  Wanted to pass along an open
source project that you might find interesting.
Zurmo is a highly sophisticated open source CRM project that is written
in PHP utilizing JQuery, Yii, and RedBeanPHP and relies heavily on test driven
    development.

Right now, we have 1000+ unit tests running across eight server
    configurations.  It would be incredibly
helpful to get your technical feedback and recommendations so that we can
improve the application.  Take a look and
let me know what you think: http://zurmo.org

    Thanks,

    Ray
